Italian Seasoning Dressing Mix (Bulk)
This homemade mix saves time, money, and labels you don’t want to read. Use it dry for seasoning meats and veggies, add it to Greek Yogurt Alfredo Sauce, or whisk it into a zesty Italian salad dressing. It’s pantry gold.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- dried oregano
- salt
- granulated garlic (or garlic powder)
- dried minced onion
- dried parsley
- black pepper
- dried basil *
- dried thyme *
- celery salt
- paprika
*Or use 4 tablespoons Italian Herbs blend in place of basil + thyme (note: most blends include marjoram, rosemary, sage, etc.)
No Fail Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender.
- Blend until you have a fine, uniform powder.
- Store in a cool, dry container for up to 6 months.
DIY Dressing
A quick whisk and your salad becomes the main character.
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons vinegar (white or red wine vinegar)
- ⅔ cup oil (vegetable or olive oil)
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 ½ tablespoons dry Italian Seasoning Mix
Instructions:
- Whisk or blend until smooth and emulsified.
- Use immediately or refrigerate. Shake before each use.
Other Ways to Use the Seasoning Mix:
- Sprinkle over roasted potatoes or veggies
- Add to veggies for a sensational stir fry
- Stir into ground beef for Italian meatballs or burgers
- Rub onto chicken breasts or pork before grilling
- Mix with sour cream or mayo for a zesty sandwich spread or dip
- Mix into greek yogurt and parmesan cheese and spread on chicken (dinner magic!)
- Add to pasta salad, chickpea salad, or even rice pilaf

BULK Italian Dressing Mix
Ingredients
- 1 c dried oregano
- 1 c salt
- ½ c garlic salt or powder
- ½ c dried minced onion
- ½ c dried parsley
- 2 ½ TBS black pepper
- 2 ½ TBS dried basil *
- 1 TBS + 1 tsp dried thyme *
- 2 tsp celery salt
- 2 tsp paprika
- *can use 4TBS Italian Herbs blend in lieu of these it will have other spices too*
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into a food processor or spice grinder and blend until desired consistency is reached.
- I recommend shaking the jar before each use to evenly distribute the spices.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
