BULK Italian Dressing Mix
Forget the store bottle. This dry mix is the tangy, herby go-to in my kitchen.
- 1 c dried oregano
- 1 c salt
- ½ c garlic salt or powder
- ½ c dried minced onion
- ½ c dried parsley
- 2 ½ TBS black pepper
- 2 ½ TBS dried basil *
- 1 TBS + 1 tsp dried thyme *
- 2 tsp celery salt
- 2 tsp paprika
- *can use 4TBS Italian Herbs blend in lieu of these it will have other spices too*
Place all ingredients into a food processor or spice grinder and blend until desired consistency is reached.
I recommend shaking the jar before each use to evenly distribute the spices.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Italian Salad Dressing:
1/4c + 2 TBS vinegar (white or red wine)
2/3 c oil
2 TBS water
1 ½ TBS dry Italian Seasoning Mix
Blend or whisk together until smooth. Serve over your favorite salads.
