And A Little Credit Where It’s Due
I should say this clearly — these are NOT my recipes. I mean I didn’t write them. But they are MINE because they are part of our family’s celebrations and they are just the perfect way to celebrate anything.

I don’t know how I originally stumbled across these two recipes, but they’ve become permanent fixtures in our kitchen. I haven’t altered the cupcake recipe at all (except for occasionally sneaking in a little coconut extract lately), and the frosting is perfect exactly as written — though I do like to chill it slightly before spreading.
These talented recipe creators deserve the full credit. I’m just the grateful repeat baker who keeps bringing them to the party.
